Scope: This standard specifies the basic requirements, design requirements, construction requirements, management and maintenance of lightning protection in primary and secondary schools (referred to as schools). This standard is applicable to lightning protection in newly built, renovated and expanded schools. Lightning protection in special education schools, kindergartens and children's welfare homes can be used as a reference.
