Scope

This part of GB 30439 stipulates the safety content of the recording instrument against electric shock, against mechanical danger, against mechanical shock and impact, against flame spread, temperature limit and heat resistance of the equipment. This part does not cover functions, performance or other characteristics of equipment not related to safety, effectiveness of transport packaging, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements, functional safety, protection against explosive atmospheres, maintenance (repair), maintenance (repair) personnel protection. If the recording instrument is to be used in other environments (such as medical, food, nuclear power, ships, etc.), the recording instrument must also meet the special requirements, standards and installation guidelines applicable to the corresponding environment. This part applies to recording instruments that automatically collect and record process signals during the manufacturing or processing of industrial products, whose rated voltage does not exceed 300 V, and the power connection method is wire connection. This section also applies to accessories intended to be used with automation products (such as instrument verification devices).
