Scope
This part of GB 30439 specifies the safety of temperature transmitters used in industrial processes (hereinafter referred to as transmitters) against electric shock and electric burns, against mechanical hazards, against flames spreading from the inside of the transmitter to outside, and against the effects of overheating content. This part does not cover functions, performance or other characteristics of equipment not related to safety, effectiveness of transport packaging, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements, functional safety, protection against explosive atmospheres, maintenance (repair), maintenance (repair) personnel protection. This section applies to transmitters for industrial process measurement and control.
