- This standard specifies the technical requirements for nickel, chromium, zinc, aluminum anodizing, and organic coating processes commonly used for protection and decoration purposes on meteorological instruments and their accessories (hereinafter referred to as products). This standard applies to meteorological instruments. Marine instruments can also be used as a reference.
