Scope: This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage and safety of acetone for industrial use. This standard applies to industrial acetone produced by cumene method and fermentation method. Molecular formula: (CH₃)₂CO relative molecular mass: 58.08 (according to the international relative atomic mass in 2007).
