Scope

This standard specifies the test method for the determination of water content in chemical products by gas chromatography. This standard applies to the determination of the water content of liquid organic matter, including alcohols, ketones, hydrocarbons, halogenated hydrocarbons, esters, etc. Determination of water content (mass fraction) ranges from 0.003% to 1.0%.
