Scope: This standard specifies the classification, basic requirements, performance test and inspection methods, technical requirements, types and marking codes of dangerous goods transport packaging (hereinafter referred to as transport packaging). This standard applies to the transport packaging containing dangerous goods. This standard does not apply to: a) Transport packages containing radioactive substances; b) Transport packages of pressure vessels containing compressed gases and liquefied gases; c) Transport packages with a net mass of more than 400 kg; d) Transport packages with a volume of more than 450 L .
