Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for fire and explosion protection and safety production in the drilling, development, storage and transportation of petroleum (excluding refined oil) and natural gas. This standard applies to onshore petroleum (excluding refined oil) and natural gas drilling, development, storage and transportation production operations.
