Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for fire and explosion protection and safety production in oil and natural gas drilling, development, storage and transportation. This standard applies to onshore oil and natural gas drilling, development, storage, transportation and production operations. The drilling, development, storage, transportation and production operations of shallow sea oil and natural gas can also be implemented by reference.
