- The "Technical Standard for Foam Fire Extinguishing System" is now approved as a national standard, numbered GB50151-2021, and will come into force on October 1, 2021. Among them, Articles 3.2.2(2), 3.2.3, 3.2.6, 3.3.2(1, 2, 4, 5), 3.7.6, 4.1.2(2, 3, 4, 5), 4.1. 3, 4.1.11, 4.2.6 (1, 2), 5.1.2 (1, 2, 3), 5.2.2 (1, 2, 3), 7.1.3 (1, 2), 7.1.7, Articles 8.1.1, 9.2.4, 9.3.19 (7), and 11.0.4 (section) are mandatory provisions and must be strictly implemented. The original national standards "Code for Design of Foam Fire Extinguishing System" (GB50151-2010) and "Code for Construction and Acceptance of Foam Fire Extinguishing System" (GB50281-2006) are abolished at the same time. This standard is published on the website of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (www.mohurd.gov.cn), and is published by China Planning Publishing House Co., Ltd. organized by the Institute of Standards and Quotas of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.
