Scope: This standard specifies the classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of roll-pressed asbestos fiber gasket materials (hereinafter referred to as "gasket materials"). This standard applies to sheets for making gaskets made of fibers that do not contain asbestos as the main reinforcing material, elastomers as the binder and auxiliary reinforcing material, and other fillers added, and rolled. Sealing gaskets made of this kind of plate can also be implemented as follows.
