Scope

1.1 This part of GB/T 14566 stipulates the technical requirements such as the structural type, nominal diameter, and design bursting pressure range of different materials for positive arch rupture discs. 1.2 This part applies to the bursting disc safety devices used in pressure vessels, pressure pipes or other closed pressure-bearing equipment (hereinafter referred to as pressure-bearing equipment) to prevent overpressure or excessive vacuum. 1.3 This part does not apply to the following bursting discs: - pressure equipment that may have a sharp increase in pressure during operation and the reaction speed reaches detonation. — Bursting disc safety devices with special requirements for national defense and military equipment.
