Scope

This part of GB/T14566 specifies the technical requirements for the structural type, nominal diameter, design burst pressure range, etc. of graphite rupture discs. This section applies to bursting disc safety devices used in pressure vessels, pressure pipes or other closed pressure-bearing equipment to prevent overpressure or excessive vacuum. This section does not apply to the following bursting discs: — Pressure equipment that may experience a sharp increase in pressure during operation and whose reaction speed reaches detonation; — Bursting disc safety devices with special requirements for national defense and military equipment.
