Scope

This standard specifies the type, nominal diameter, and range of bursting pressure of arched slotted metal rupture discs. This standard applies to overpressure relief of pressure vessels, pipelines or other confined spaces. The maximum working pressure of the system shall not exceed 80% of the burst pressure. This type of bursting disc has a small amount of fragments after bursting. Among them, the positive arch slit with bracket type, the positive arch slit with reinforcing ring and the bracket type can withstand a certain back pressure difference.
