Scope

1.1 This part of GB 567 specifies the technical requirements for the category, type, code, marking method and installation size of the bursting disc safety device. 1.2 This part applies to the following bursting disc safety devices: —— This part applies to the bursting disc safety devices used in pressure vessels, pressure pipes or other closed pressure-bearing equipment (hereinafter referred to as pressure-bearing equipment) to prevent overpressure or excessive vacuum ——The bursting pressure of the bursting disc in the bursting disc safety device applicable to this part is not greater than 500MPa and not less than 0.001MPa. 1.3 This section does not apply to the following bursting disc safety devices: ——Pressure-bearing equipment that may have a sharp increase in pressure during operation and whose reaction speed reaches detonation. —— Bursting disc safety devices with special requirements for national defense and military equipment.
