- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, serious hazards, safety requirements and (or) measures, inspection and use information for the design, manufacture, modification and use of mechanical press products (hereinafter referred to as presses). This standard applies to the design, manufacture, modification and use of presses and auxiliary equipment as part of presses, and also applies to equipment integrated into automated production lines. This standard does not apply to machinery for the following purposes: - shearing machines; - mechanically connected machines, such as riveting machines; - bending or folding machines; - straightening machines; - rotary head presses; - extrusion machines; Hammer or hot die forging presses; - metal powder presses; - punching machines for processing steel structure profiles; - screw presses; - special punching machines designed for profile punching (such as steel structures).
