Scope
This part of GB/T 15970 specifies the preparation of welded specimens for stress corrosion tests and additional factors to be considered. In particular, this section provides recommendations for the selection of test specimens and test methods to determine the stress corrosion resistance of metals in the welded condition. The term "metal" as used in this section includes alloys.
