- Scope
- This standard applies to indoor and outdoor AC isolating switches and grounding switches with closed or open terminals operating in power systems with a voltage of 3.0kV and above and a frequency of 50Hz, as well as their operating mechanisms and their auxiliary equipment. Additional requirements for isolating switches and earthing switches in enclosed switchgear and control equipment are given in GB 3906-2006, GB 7674-2008 and IEC 62271-201:2003.
