This standard specifies the type, size and technical requirements of high-voltage electrical terminals. This standard applies to high-voltage terminals of high-voltage electrical appliances in systems with indoor and outdoor voltages of 3 000 V and above. However, it is not excluded that it works on other devices. This standard does not give coordination between terminal size and rated current. This standard is mainly applicable to the following equipment: --Power transformers (including their low-voltage side terminals); --Bushings (including wall bushings, high-voltage switchgear and transformer bushings, etc.); --High-voltage circuit breakers; -- High voltage isolating switch; --High voltage load switch; --High voltage grounding switch; --Bypass switch; --High voltage automatic recloser; --High voltage automatic sectionalizer; --High voltage fuse; --High voltage load switch- Fuse combination; --High voltage contactor-fuse combination; --Metal-enclosed switchgear; --High-voltage/low-voltage prefabricated substation; --Gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (GIS); Electrical appliances (H-GIS); --Open combined electrical appliances (C-AIS); --Metal-enclosed bus bars; --Cable distribution boxes; --Current transformers (excluding their secondary terminals); --Current limiting Reactor, etc. This standard also applies to the following equipment: --Earth switch, power capacitor, lightning arrester and high-voltage contactor; --Transformers other than power transformers (such as electric furnace transformers, rectifier transformers, test transformers, etc.), voltage transformers, shunt reactors ; --High-voltage fuses to protect voltage transformers and power capacitors; --High-voltage power cables, etc. Crimp-type copper and aluminum terminals for high-voltage power cable conductors are included in GB/T 14315-2008, and terminals for electrical installation engineering busbars are included in GB 50149-2010. Any special requirements beyond the scope of this standard shall be negotiated between the user and the manufacturer.
