Scope
This specification stipulates the smelting, forging, test methods and inspection regulations of low-carbon steel shafting (including rudder shaft) forgings for ships. This specification applies to the manufacture and acceptance of low magnetic steel shafting forgings made of steel ingots (or forged) with a finished diameter not greater than 300mm. Other shaft forgings can be compared.
