- Scope
- This standard specifies the structure, technical requirements, coating application, quality inspection, marking, packaging, storage, loading, unloading and transportation of non-metallic inner coatings on drill pipes. This standard applies to internal coatings for drill pipes of various types and specifications that comply with API Spec 5D, SY/T 5561. Internally coated drill pipes using this standard are recommended for use in oil and gas drilling conditions where the drilling temperature is no higher than 204°C and the pH value of the drilling fluid is 2 to 12.5. Use in environments containing HS corrosive media requires consultation with the user.
