Scope

This document specifies the instruments and materials involved in the preparation of paint films, samples, and paint film preparation methods. This document is applicable to the preparation of paint films on test panels and test pieces for the determination of paint film properties. The preparation methods include brushing, spraying, dipping, scraping and other common laboratory methods.
