This part specifies the test method for the determination of hydrogen sulfide content in natural gas by the lead acetate reaction rate method. This section applies to the determination of hydrogen sulfide (HS) content in natural gas. The air is undisturbed. The measurement range is 0.1×10~16×10(φ), approximately equivalent to 0.1 mg/m~22 mg/m; and the measurement range can be extended to higher concentrations through manual or automatic volume dilution. It is also suitable for the determination of hydrogen sulfide content in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), natural gas substitutes and fuel gas mixtures. This section does not address all security issues related to its application. Before using this section, it is the user's responsibility to formulate corresponding safety and protection measures, and to clarify the scope of application of its limitations.
