Scope
This part specifies the test method for the determination of total sulfur content in natural gas by the hydrogenolysis-rate meter colorimetric method. This section applies to the determination of total sulfur content in natural gas. The measuring range is 0.1×10~20×10(φ), approximately equivalent to 0.1 mg/m~26 mg/m; and the measuring range can be extended to a higher concentration by dilution. This part can also be used as an analytical means for quality control of refined products such as propane, butane, ethane, and ethylene. This section does not address all security issues related to its application. Before using this section, it is the user's responsibility to formulate corresponding safety and protection measures, and to clarify the scope of application of its limitations.
