- Scope
- This Part of GB/T 18779 specifies the Uncertainty Management Procedure (PUMA). It is based on "Guidelines for the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement" (GUM) and JJF 1059: 1999 "Assessment and Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement" and is a practical approximation procedure for evaluating the uncertainty of measurement results. This part applies to the calibration of measurement standards and measuring equipment in the field of GPS in industrial production and the measurement of GPS feature quantities of workpieces. The purpose is to give all the information needed to complete the uncertainty report and provide a basis for international and domestic comparisons of measurement results and their uncertainties (relationships between customers and suppliers). This standard is also generally used for uncertainty evaluation and uncertainty reporting in the following situations: - a single measurement result; - a comparison of two or more measurement results; Compare the measurement results obtained by (or measuring equipment) with the given specifications (ie, the maximum allowable error MPE of the metrological characteristic quantity of the measuring equipment or measurement standard, and the tolerance limit of the workpiece characteristic quantity, etc.) to determine whether it is qualified.
