- This document specifies the tolerances for a given workpiece characteristic (or workpiece batch characteristics) or the maximum permissible error for the metrological characteristics of the measuring equipment, including the measurement uncertainty to be considered when the measured value is close to the specification limit, and the qualification of the characteristics of the workpiece or measuring equipment is verified. or unqualified judgment rules.
