Geometrical product specifications (GPS)—Inspection by measurement of workpieces and measuring equipment—Part 5: Uncertainty in verification testing of indicating measuring instruments (English Version)

Scope: This part of GB/T18779 specifies the concepts and terminology for evaluating the uncertainty of test values. In the inspection and testing of GPS indicating measuring instruments, according to the testing agreement reached between institutions, the testing value is obtained through the instrument. Note: The uncertainty of the detection value is different from the measurement uncertainty caused by the indicating measuring instrument when measuring the workpiece. This part of GB/T 18779 only deals with the former. For the latter, see JJF1059.1 and GB/T18779.2.
