- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test conditions, test items and requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of gear oil pumps for diesel locomotives. This standard applies to gear oil pumps (hereinafter referred to as oil pumps) for diesel locomotives (including diesel multiple units), but does not apply to lubricating oil pumps for air compressors.
