This standard stipulates the emission limits of air pollutants for boilers in two categories: newly built, expanded, renovated boilers and boilers in use. This standard applies to the emission control of air pollutants from coal-fired, oil-fired, gas-fired, biomass-fired boilers and other fuel-fired boilers, as well as the environmental impact assessment, design, completion acceptance and post-completion pollutant emission control of construction projects. This standard does not apply to boilers that use domestic waste and hazardous waste as fuel.
