Scope: This standard stipulates and provides guidance on the setting methods of unorganized emission monitoring points of air pollutants, the determination and selection of monitoring meteorological conditions, and the calculation of monitoring results. It is a supplement to Appendix C of GB 16297-1996 "Comprehensive Emission Standard of Air Pollutants". concretize. This standard applies to the monitoring of unorganized emissions of air pollutants carried out by environmental monitoring departments to implement Appendix C of GB 16297-1996, and also applies to similar monitoring carried out by each pollution source unit to implement self-management. This standard is a technical guidance document. Environmental monitoring departments should implement the corresponding provisions and requirements of the standard in accordance with the provisions and principle requirements of Appendix C of GB 16297-1996 and with reference to specific circumstances and needs. The setting of unorganized emission monitoring points of air pollutants in industrial kilns, coke ovens and cement plants shall still be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the corresponding air pollutant emission standards GB 9078-1996; GB 16171-1996; GB 4915-1996. The remaining Relevant issues shall be governed by the provisions of this standard.
