Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, overall design, desulfurization process system, material and equipment selection, construction and acceptance, operation and maintenance of industrial boiler and kiln wet flue gas desulfurization projects, and puts forward technical requirements. This standard is applicable to coal-fired industrial boilers with evaporation capacity ≥ 20t/h (14MW) or coal-fired thermal power plants with evaporation capacity < 400t/h using lime method, soda-calcium double alkali method, magnesium oxide method, and limestone method. The new construction, reconstruction and expansion of wet flue gas desulfurization projects for boilers and furnaces with considerable flue gas volume can be used as the technical basis for environmental impact assessment, design, construction, environmental protection acceptance and post-completion operation and management. The wet flue gas desulfurization project of fuel and gas industrial boilers shall be implemented with reference to this standard.
