Scope

This standard specifies the maximum permissible emission concentration limits and smoke blackness limits for particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, mercury and their compounds in boiler flue gas. This standard applies to steam boilers with a single output of 65t/h or less, hot water boilers of various capacities and organic heat carrier boilers that use coal, oil and gas as fuel; . For boilers using briquette, coal water slurry, coal gangue, petroleum coke, oil shale, biomass briquette fuel, etc., refer to the emission control requirements for coal-fired boilers in this standard. This standard does not apply to boilers that use domestic garbage and hazardous waste as fuel. This standard applies to the management of air pollutant emissions from in-use boilers, as well as the environmental impact assessment of boiler construction projects, the design of environmental protection facilities, the completion of environmental protection acceptance and the management of air pollutant emissions after they are put into operation. This standard applies to pollutant discharge behaviors permitted by law; the site selection of newly established pollution sources and the management of existing pollution sources in special protection areas shall be in accordance with the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Air Pollution", "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Water Pollution", "The Law of the People's Republic of China on Marine Environmental Protection", "The Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste", "The Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Radioactive Pollution", "The Law of the People's Republic of China on Environmental Impact Assessment" and other laws, regulations and rules implement.
