Scope

This part of GB/T 2424 provides guidelines for selection among the three steady-state vibration test methods in GB/T 2423, test Fc sine, test Fh random and test Fi mixed mode vibration mode. Chapter 4 briefly describes the different steady-state vibration test methods and their purpose. This section does not include transient vibration test methods. When performing a vibration test, the environmental conditions, especially the dynamic environment of the sample, should be known. This section contributes to the collection of information on environmental conditions (see Chapter 8) and the estimation or measurement of the dynamic environment (see Chapter 6), and demonstrates how to determine the most appropriate vibration test method. Starting from the vibration conditions, a method for selecting a suitable test is given. Since the random characteristics usually play a dominant role in the actual vibration environment, the random vibration test should be the most commonly used method. See Table 1 in Chapter 7. The following test methods can be used to check the vibration response of a sample before, during and after the test. See Chapter 8 and Table 2 for how to choose an appropriate incentive method. In this section, writers of relevant specifications can find relevant information on vibration test methods and guidance on how to choose a vibration test method. For the test parameters or severity levels of a certain test method, refer to the relevant specifications.
