Scope
This part of GB/T 2424 gives an example of how to estimate the uncertainty of the steady-state temperature and humidity of the temperature and humidity test chamber. Since the measurement method is closely related to the uncertainty, it is also described. This section also applies to all environmental conditions, including rooms or test chambers. This method is applicable to both the temperature test chamber and the temperature and humidity test chamber. This section is of great help to those who use climate chambers. Those already familiar with measurement uncertainty will find it instructive on typical sources of measurement uncertainty and their quantification. It can also be helpful for first-time or occasional users of temperature and humidity chambers or those with no knowledge of the subject. When discussing uncertainty, it is important to first know what is being measured and described. The calibration and performance characterization of a test chamber relates to the temperature and humidity of the gas in the chamber and the test sample being tested for a given set point condition. These should not be confused with the calibration and performance descriptions of in-box sensors, as the concepts are different.
