Scope
This standard specifies the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) limits, performance criteria and measurement methods of wireless communication equipment and its associated auxiliary equipment. This standard applies to all types of wireless communication equipment. Field testing is available for certain products that are not suitable for testing in a laboratory environment, such as high-power radio transmitters. In this case, if there are no applicable field test standards and methods, then the rationale and limits of the measurement methods used to evaluate the EUT of the equipment under test shall be consistent with the provisions of this standard.
