Scope
This part of GB/T 2423 specifies the test methods applicable to electrical and electronic products that may be subjected to dripping, flushing or immersion during transportation, storage or use. Whether the good working performance of the equipment and components can be guaranteed after or during the test. The test methods specified in this section are not applicable to corrosion tests. This section does not simulate the effects of large temperature differences between water and the test piece, such as increased water ingress due to pressure changes and thermal shock. This section includes artificial rain tests based on natural conditions, but usually does not consider natural rainfall with strong wind speed. This section gives guidance on the selection of tests and the application of severity levels. This part can be used as a reference basis for product technical standards.
