This part of GB 7260 applies to electronic uninterruptible power supply equipment with energy storage devices in the DC link. This part refers to relevant content of GB 4943-2001 and IEC 60950-1-2001. The main function of the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) covered by this standard is to ensure the continuity of the AC power output. The UPS also improves the quality of the power supply by maintaining the specified characteristics of the power supply. Notes on regional differences in relevant chapters of GB 4943-2001 and IEC 60950-1-2001 are also applicable. This section applies to mobile, stationary, fixed or built-in UPS intended to be installed in the operator's reach area and used in low-voltage power distribution systems. This standard specifies the requirements to ensure the safety of operators and laymen who may have access to the equipment. When specified, it also applies to maintenance personnel.
