Scope

It is the user's responsibility to take appropriate safety and health measures and ensure compliance with the conditions stipulated in the relevant national laws and regulations. This part specifies the determination of manganese content by potentiometric titration, ammonium nitrate oxidation titration and perchloric acid oxidation titration. This part is applicable to the determination of manganese content in ferromanganese, blast furnace ferromanganese, manganese silicon, ferromanganese nitride and metallic manganese. The determination range (mass fraction): 50.00% to 98.00%. Method 1 is not applicable to the determination of manganese content in ferromanganese with chromium and vanadium content (mass fraction)>0.4%, blast furnace ferromanganese, manganese silicon, ferromanganese nitride and metallic manganese.
