This part specifies the principle, reagents and materials, instruments, sampling and preparation, analysis steps, calculation of results, etc. for the determination of manganese content by potentiometric titration and ammonium nitrate oxidation titration. This part applies to the determination of manganese content in ferromanganese and blast furnace ferromanganese, the determination range (mass fraction): 50.00% to 95.00%. Method 1 is not suitable for the determination of manganese content in ferromanganese and blast furnace ferromanganese with chromium content (mass fraction) > 0.5%, vanadium content (mass fraction) > 0.4%.
