Scope

This standard specifies the type and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of electric hoist bridge cranes (hereinafter referred to as cranes). This standard applies to general-purpose cranes using electric hoists as the lifting mechanism. Other forms or special-purpose cranes can also be used with reference. This standard does not apply to cranes working under the following environmental conditions: 　——Explosive gas, combustible dust and corrosive gas environments; 　——Lifting molten metal, flammable and explosive items.
