- Scope
- This standard applies to all rotating electrical machines, except those specified by other national standards and IEC standards, such as TB 2436 (IEC 60349, IEC 61377) traction motors. Motors within the scope of this standard may also meet the requirements of other national standards and IEC standards that have been replaced, modified or supplemented, such as GB 3836 (IEC 60079) explosion-proof motors and GB/T 7060 (IEC 60092) marine motors. Note: If some provisions of this standard must be modified for special purposes such as radiation-resistant motors or aerospace motors, all other provisions remain valid when they are applicable.
