- Scope
- This standard specifies the tests, inspections and procedures (see ISO 7363) for verifying the performance of cranes, including operating parameters and load-lifting capabilities. This standard applies to all types of cranes, as defined in ISO 4306-1, which are put into use for the first time after manufacture, modification and repair of the load-bearing structure or components of the crane. When the rated lifting capacity of the crane depends on the stability, the specified test procedure and test load can easily verify the allowable stability margin.
