- Scope
- This part of JB/T 6012 specifies the method and evaluation standard for ultrasonic longitudinal wave direct inspection of welding defects in bimetal friction welded valve bar. This section is applicable to bimetal friction welding valve bars of reciprocating piston internal combustion engines with a cylinder diameter less than or equal to 200mm. It can also be used as a reference for ultrasonic testing of semi-finished and finished valves.
