Scope: This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of electromagnetic pipeline flowmeters. This standard applies to electromagnetic flow transmitters or electromagnetic flowmeters that combine electromagnetic flow sensors and electromagnetic flow converters to measure incompressible water and sewage (wastewater) in closed pipelines. Flow meters used in special occasions (such as explosion-proof electromagnetic flow meters, high-pressure electromagnetic flow meters), in addition to complying with this standard, should also meet relevant special requirements.
