Scope: This standard specifies the method for handover measurement using Coriolis flow meters. These include: standards or procedures applicable to the operation of Coriolis flow meters, installation, operation and maintenance of Coriolis flow meters, verification of Coriolis flow meters using mass method and volumetric method, etc. This standard applies to all aspects of dynamic measurement of liquid hydrocarbon flow in the petroleum industry. This standard does not restrict the use of Coriolis flow meters for other purposes or for measuring other fluids.
