Scope
This procedure is applicable to the type evaluation, initial verification, subsequent verification and in-use inspection of ultrasonic flowmeters for closed pipelines (hereinafter referred to as flowmeters) based on the time difference method. This procedure does not apply to the verification of ultrasonic flow measuring instruments in open channels or undercover channels.
