- This standard specifies the analytical method for the determination of the chemical composition of natural gas and similar gas mixtures by gas chromatography. This standard applies to the analysis of the range of natural gas components shown in Table 1, and also to the determination of one or several components. This standard does not address all safety issues related to its application. Before using this standard, the user is responsible for formulating corresponding safety and health operating procedures, and clarifying the applicable scope of its limitations.
