Scope
This test method specifies a method for determining the extent to which gasket materials adhere to metal surfaces under pressure. The test conditions described are those commonly encountered in gasket applications. The test conditions can also be modified according to the needs of special applications when agreed between the supplier and the purchaser. The maximum test temperature recommended by this test method is 205°C.
