Scope: This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage and contract content of high-purity germanium dioxide. This standard applies to high-purity germanium dioxide obtained from high-purity germanium tetrachloride as raw material through hydrolysis, washing and drying. The products are used for the production of reduced germanium, organic germanium, catalysts, germanium tetrachloride for optical fiber, bismuth germanate (BGO) crystals and compound crystals, etc.
