Scope

This standard specifies the particle size distribution of metal powders determined by the dry sieving method. This standard is applicable to dry, lubricant-free metal powders. This standard is not applicable to metal powders with obvious anisometric shapes (such as flakes) and Metal powders whose particle size is wholly or mostly less than 45 μm,
